LittleBits: Inventor Kit Videos

Filming + Editing Explainer Videos of Educational Toys for Mobile App.
Tutorial videos were created for three toy maker kits:
Inventor Kit ( 7 toy builds ) / Electronic Music Kit (5 toy builds)  / and Space Rover Inventor Kit (10 toy builds)

User Testing was implemented with several focus groups of children ages 7-11 to ensure they were able to follow along to video tutorials and build the toys.
The tests helped inform the final speed of building the kit, editing videos to the app’s button prompts, pausing with gestures, composing each shot with PreVisualization of text/buttons layout, and optimization of mobile devices (different formats of iPhones/Androids/iPad).
